THe LMFV League
Are you new to PITA competition shooting? The LMFV Trap League is a perfect chance for you to try out PITA competition style shooting in a shorter format. If you've shot a few trap practice rounds, then PITA competition is no different and you are ready for competition shooting. It's like shooting practice rounds but you're eligible to win prizes and your scores get registered with the PITA. As a new shooter, you will be classified in B class in singles and doubles, and 20 yards in handicap. But as an unclassified new shooter, you are eligible to win the Unclassified Trophies and you will be able to shoot most of your required targets to get you classified for the PITA season next year. You will also get an opportunity to meet fellow trapshooters and get tips on how to become a better shooter. Just bring your shotgun (it can be a pump, break, or semi-auto), 6 boxes of target shells (1150fps in size 7.5 or 8), eye/ear protection, your PAL, and a shooting vest/shell pouch (if you don't have one, your pant pockets will do just fine). Show up at least 30 minutes prior to the start time for registration, let us know that you are new to PITA competition, and we will take care of the rest and pair you with an experienced shooter who will help you through the day.
