In 2021, the five BC Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley (LMFV) gun clubs started the LMFV Winter League series in order to keep trapshooting active over the winter and introduce the sport to new shooters. The inaugural LMFV Winter League saw 126 shooters participating and 78 of them were new to the sport.
In 2022, the five LMFV clubs formed a new non-profit society named the West Coast Clayshooting Association (WCCA) to administer the LMFV League shoots.
